  • How often should I get a facial?

    The frequency depends on your skin condition and goals. Your esthetician will help create a treatment plan tailored to your needs during your first visit.

  • What should I avoid before and after a facial?

    Before your facial, please avoid: 


    • Prescription retinol for 5 days 

    • At-home chemical exfoliants for 2-3 days

     • Facial waxing or threading for 3-4 days 

    • Shaving facial hair the morning of your appointment 

    • Accutane (must wait 6 months after completion)  



    After your facial, please avoid: 


    • Activities causing excessive sweating for 24 hours

     • Active ingredients (retinol, AHAs, BHAs) for 48 hours

  • What would prevent me from getting a facial?

    Active cold sores — please wait until fully healed before booking.  


    Active cancer treatment or chemotherapy — please consult with your physician.


      Please complete the client intake form emailed to you prior to your appointment, as contraindications vary by treatment.

  • What products do you use in your treatment room?

    We use high-quality professional products and technologies. Click to learn more about that brands we carry

  • What is your cancellation policy?

    No-shows or cancellations within 24 hours of your appointment will result in a $25 fee. If you arrive late, your appointment may be cancelled or modified if time permits. Modified treatments are charged at full price. Please arrive on time so we can welcome all guests promptly.

  • What forms of payment do you accept?

    All payments must be made with a debit or credit card.

  • How can I book a chemical peel?

    Chemical peels are not available for first-time clients. You must book a facial first for a consultation and proper skin analysis.

  • How can I get in touch?

    You can book, cancel, and reschedule appointments through Square. For all other inquiries, please send us a DM on Instagram or email us at gymnonyc@gmail.com
